What is Real Time Ultrasound?
Real Time Ultrasound is a machine used by physiotherapists to look at muscles inside the body from the outside. This assists the physiotherapist in assessing and educating you on how to activate or relax these muscles. Real Time Ultrasound is widely used to assessing pelvic floor muscles, the deep abdominal core muscles and spinal stabilising muscles. Real Time Ultrasound is safe for pregnant women.
